In 2003, The Cranes On Parade committee had terrific success at the first Auction with smaller “Crane Eggs”.  Most of these “eggs” sold in the range of $200-$500, which made it possible for bidders who may not have had an opportunity to keep up with the top bidders.  Thus allowing for a wider range of bidding participants, and the possibility of taking home an original Cranes On Parade piece of art.

In 2010, we are offering 9 smaller cranes, (many done by the same artists who painted the full-size crane), which should make it possible for many more people to join in on the bidding action.  This smaller crane (14″ tall), served at the original study piece that was commissioned by Martha Pettigrew

You can view each of these one-of-a-kind original artworks by clicking on an image below.

All of these pieces of art will be auctioned off at the Public Art Auction on September 9, 2010 at the Museum of Nebraska Art.  Complete details of the Art Auction are available on our home page.
